About Micki Findlay

Micki Findlay Vancouver Island Photographer, Micki Findlay, is a freestyle photo-artist with a passion for all things creative. With an eye for aesthetic detail, she has a knack for bringing her images 'to life' with various post-processing techniques, and her use of vibrant colours.

Micki Findlay's work has been featured in local galleries, art shows, and has been the recipient of several awards. Her images are widely diverse, but her favorite subjects are ancient architecture and timeworn boats, which is why she had reached nirvana the minute she stepped off the train in Venice, Italy - a bucket list experience that will be forever etched in her heart.

Micki is known as 'The Singing Photographer', because of her history in musical performance and song writing. She believes in the strength of community and supporting local charities by donating her art, music, graphic design work, and handmade coastal creations to their various fundraising efforts. She feels very blessed living on Van Isle - the melting pot for creativity - amongst so many talented and innovative artists.
