When I was in Ios, Greece with friends, we happened upon this amazing pirate ship which offered boat tours around the coastline. The tour lasted nearly all day and it was one of the best experiences of our lives and so reasonably priced. The captain had handcrafted the ship himself over a period of eight years. We will never forget our experience.
Vancouver Island Photographer, Micki Findlay, is a creative, freestyle 'photo-artist' who has a passion for the arts which include the theatre, music and computer graphics. She was to discover, later on in life, that she possessed a love for photography after receiving a digital camera from her husband as a gift.
