This is a multi-media piece. The background is a watercolour layer - the birds are from a photo I took in Powell River BC of an enormous flock of pigeons that were flying in to be fed by an elderly gentleman that came to the same spot at the same time every single day. They were eating right out of his hand. A remarkable sight. (I have two versions of this image. Check out the other image of the same name)
