I loved the juxtaposition of this scene... the vast, limitless night sky and the open field in the background... and then the barbed wire fence that stops one cold from exploring the beauty that lies beyond.

Vancouver Island Photographer, Micki Findlay, is a creative, freestyle 'photo-artist' who has a passion for the arts which include the theatre, music and computer graphics. She was to discover, later on in life, that she possessed a love for photography after receiving a digital camera from her husband as a gift.
