Padlocks are engraved, and attached to a cable or railing together signifying a lasting love. We saw these locks on the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet, BC, but the first time I ever saw this romantic tradition was on the Ponte Vecchio Bridge in Florence. I love it.
